2024-25 federal grant information presented to Virginia Beach School Board

The Virginia Beach School Board received information about proposed federal grant applications at its May 14 meeting. For the 2024-25 school year, Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) would receive approximately $21.1 million in formula grant funds through programs authorized under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).

Part-Time School Counselor: Alamaria Miller

Erin Whitt and Alamaria Miller are professional licensed school counselors serving the needs of our students at Red Mill Elementary School. They have advanced degrees in counseling and educational support.

Erin Whitt is our full-time school counselor. She is available every day for classroom lessons, consultations, and individual and small group counseling. Ms. Miller will be in the building on Thursdays and Fridays to assist with classroom counseling lessons and small group counseling. Contact them at 757.648.3572.
